Q: How is your training program different from all of the others
out there?
A: In addition to the training with proven methods such as weight-training
and cardio drills, we augment your training with a unique martial arts tie in. This
includes speed bag drills, muy thai (kick-boxing), heavy bag work, and wall drills.
By incorporation the martial arts principles to your training, we give you a total
workout – body, mind, and spirit. This physical training program was developed over
many years, by several martial arts masters.
Q: What are your qualifications as a trainer?
A: Can just ANYONE be a personal trainer? The answer to that
question is both yes, and no. It doesn't take a degree or a certification to become
a trainer (although those sometimes help), but it does take an in-depth knowledge
of human motivation behavioral psychology, and exercise physiology.
Master Jeff Yeagley has dedicated much of his life to both
physical and martial arts training - close to thirty years. Through all of his experience
and expertise, he remains humbly, but confidently dedicated to the success of his
clients – in the traditional martial arts, as well as personal training. He truly
believes in the potential for people to succeed.
Q: How often should I workout/train with you?
A: Due to the intense nature of the workout regimen, twice a week
is the optimal number of sessions I would recommend. This gives your body time to
recover in between sessions.
Q: My schedule can get really hectic. How flexible are you for setting up sessions?
A: Training consistently and not missing sessions is crucial to
get the most from your training. Our staff works hard to accommodate you to the
best of our abilities. In certain circumstances, we'll be happy to train you at
midnight, five in the morning, over lunch, or whatever time best fits into your
lifestyle.
Q: How do I begin?
A: Once you make the decision to begin your training, we meet to
custom-tailor a program which fits you needs and meets with your abilities. The
initial consultation includes a pre screening health questionnaire, physical activity
readiness questionnaire and a pre-assessment which includes:
- Resting Heart Rate
- Resting Blood Pressure
- Starting Weight
- Circumference Measurements
- Body Composition Analysis
-
A goal sheet
Your trainer will work with you to establish realistic and attainable goals. Our
staff show a genuine concern for you, your goals and your health.
Q: Will I be surrounded and watched by other people working out?
A: The short answer is NO. Our gym is a private one – it’s smaller,
and more intimate than a large fitness facility, and you don’t have to feel like
there’s a bunch of people gawking at you while you train.
Q: Sounds good, but how much is it?
A: We have a fee schedule designed so that you could choose to train
on your own, with a friend, or even a close group. That's a great way to help make
you the most successful.
- One on one adult fitness training: $50/hour
- 2 Person Training: $80/hour
- 3 Person Training: $90/hour
- 4 Person Training: $100/hour
